CS2 rank boosting means getting another player’s help to increase your rating or rank. Before choosing a service, identify the mode you want to progress in and who will play on the account.
What does a boost increase?
CS2 does not have one shared rating across all modes:
Mode | Result |
|---|---|
Premier | A higher numerical CS Rating |
Competitive | A higher rank on a selected map, from Silver to The Global Elite |
FACEIT | Higher Elo and the FACEIT skill level linked to it |
For a rank on a particular map, see Competitive rank boosting. For progress on the separate platform, see FACEIT boosting. CS Rating, Competitive rank and FACEIT skill level are different measures, so choose the one you want to improve.
Direct boosting and lobby play
With direct boosting, the booster plays on your account. With lobby boosting, you play on your own account in a party with the booster.
Method | Who plays on your account? | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
Direct | The booster | Account access is needed; check how access is handled and review the order terms |
Lobby | You | You need time to play together; availability depends on the service |
Time and price depend on the mode, your current rating, the target and the method. Compare the actual order terms: lobby play needs your participation, while direct boosting needs account access.
Choose the service that matches your goal
Start with your target: CS Rating in Premier, a Competitive rank on a map, or FACEIT Elo. Then choose a play method and decide how much time you can spend playing yourself.
Profile development is a separate goal. For example, a Steam hours boost increases recorded playtime, but does not replace the matches needed to improve your rating.
If your goal is CS Rating, see Premier rating boosting.
